About
Nicole grew up in Leicestershire, surrounded by countryside and woodland, before going to study Jewellery and Silversmithing at Birmingham's School of Jewellery for four years.
After founding Nicole Iredale Designs out of a shared workshop in the Jewellery Quarter back in 2012, Nicole left city life behind and moved to the beautiful Forest of Dean, where she continues to live and create new designs, whilst never taking for granted the natural beauty that the area has to offer.
As a lifelong lover of flora and fauna, Nicole is especially drawn to the miniature world of creepy crawlies, and finds endless inspiration in the fascinating and beautiful lives of invertebrates. She can spend many hours immersed in looking for and learning about insects, as well as creating her jewellery and artworks.
Nicole's collections include her unique designs on mugs, cushions, notebooks and other items, all of them adorned with beetles, butterflies, slugs and more, and she endeavors to source sustainable, recycled and eco-friendly materials and packaging whenever possible.
